Our Mission & Vision
Help as many people as possible take their Next Step toward Jesus Christ.
We encourage you to check out what is going on around Alice Drive. There are lots of ways to get involved, but we believe they all center around four values: Know Jesus, Know Community, Grow Character, and Go Share.
Feel free to come to worship on Sundays – you can find more details about our locations here. We also encourage you to see if there are any upcoming events that you might be interested in!
Know Jesus
Because we believe people matter to God, we want to help them to know Jesus. This belief comes from John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes shall not perish but have eternal life.” We want people to know Jesus and gain eternal life (John 17:3 ): “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”
Know Community
Because we believe church is a place of grace, we want to help people know real community. This belief is from Hebrews 12:15, “See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.” We want people to know community through LIFE Groups. 1 Corinthians 12:12-13, “Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all of its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body –whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free –and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.”
Grow Character
Because we believe that everyone should live like Jesus, we want to help people grow character. This belief comes from 1 Peter 2:21, “To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.” And we want people to continue to grow in character like Christ. 2 Timothy 2:15, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” We are all growing as disciples, like apprentices. It is a process of training our souls to be like Jesus.
Go Share
Because we believe everyone has a purpose, we want to help people go share. This belief comes from John 15:8, which states, “This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.” Your character is changed by the fruit you bear. We want people to go share, Matthew 28:19-20, which states, “Therefore go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
