Hi, I'm Corey Watson, Lead Pastor of Alice Drive Baptist Church and campus pastor here at Loring Mill.

I love this church family. Whether you're new to faith, new to Sumter, or just checking us out for the first time, I want you to know you're welcome here exactly as you are.

Here at Alice Drive, we believe everyone has a next step — no matter where you are on your journey. That's true for someone walking through our doors for the first time, and it's true for someone who's followed Jesus for thirty years. Our goal isn't to get you to a finish line; it's to help you keep moving forward, one step at a time.

I'm especially passionate about strengthening families and reaching our local schools and Shaw Air Force Base community — Sumter is home to so many families navigating deployments, PCS moves, and the everyday challenge of raising kids well, and I want Alice Drive to be a place where they find real support and a next step forward.

If you're visiting for the first time, I'd love to help you find yours. Stop by our connection point after service, or reach out anytime.

Corey Watson

Students are invited to be a part of corporate worship during the 11 service as we sing and hear the preaching of God’s Word. Students are encouraged to sit with one another or with their family.

Alice Drive’s services focus mostly on worship and preaching. During the morning, we’ll share some announcements, express our hearts to God through music, and hear a teaching about God’s word.

The 8:30 a.m. service at Loring Mill is a classic service for those who are most comfortable connecting to God through hymns.

The music at the 9:45 and 11 a.m. services are modern. You’ll hear worship music, both old and new, done in a vibrant style by our music team using modern instruments and technology. You may see people with their hands up or down, eyes open or closed, but worship here is all about honoring and praising our Savior, Jesus Christ.
