LIFE Groups
Why LIFE Groups?
Belonging is an essential next step for each of us, and belonging happens best in LIFE Groups. The Bible challenges us to fellowship with one another and encourage one another. This is not easy, as we are pulled by life in so many directions, but once you find a group, you will enjoy the blessings of doing life together.
Next gathering is October 3rd. The speaker will be Dr. Mark Partin, Chief of Staff for Sumter. Mark will share how his faith impacts the work God has called him to do. This men's group meets the first Friday of each month. Lunch is provided with a $10 suggested donation.
Our Broken Wings Grief Group is a welcoming environment to share your hurts and find healing in healthy community. The group will meet each Monday from 6:00-8:00pm.

In "Mentally Tough Christians," Jake Dippold takes readers on a transformative journey through the intersection of faith and mental strength. Drawing upon his Division One baseball career and his wisdom gained in the legal field, this book equips Christians with the tools and mindset needed to face life's challenges with faith and strength.

A caring community for single moms.
Based on the study by Chip Ingram.
Modern life often overloads us with choices. What we think, how we act, and, ultimately, where our lives are headed are all influenced by what we value. For Christians, if we aren’t intentional with our choices, we can wind up far from where God intends us to be.
In this five-session series, author and pastor Rich Villodas will teach us about the formative choice we face: Will we walk the narrow path of Jesus or the broad path that leads to despair? While the narrow path may seem restrictive, when we walk it with Jesus, we will find the fullness of life we long for.
Do you have trouble thinking of words to say to God when you pray? Are you afraid some emotions are too intense to express to God? Do you reach the end of a day only to realize you haven’t prayed at all? You’re not alone. Prayer is the way we relate to God, but sometimes it’s a struggle. Throughout God’s Word, we encounter many voices who teach us how to pray. Bring your Bibles! Begins 10/15

Stitches of Love is a quilting ministry of ADBC. Their mission is to be the hands of Jesus by using their gifts and talents to bless others. In addition to making fun projects together, they also make baby quilts to donate to the crisis pregnancy centers in Sumter, to the young military couples at Shaw Air Force Base who go through parenting classes, local nursing homes, and to members of the church who have babies. They make comfort caps for ladies who have lost their hair due to chemo or other medical reasons.
