We believe that offering women a variety of ways to connect through activities they enjoy helps to build connection and community.

Women's Events

The Sumter IF: Gathering that was scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2020, 9:30am-3:00pm in the Worship Center has been postponed.  Please check out this webpage frequently for information on the new date.  This event will feature multiple speakers via video and a great time of food, fun, and fellowship.  We want women to experience community during the event and find ongoing community afterwards.

Lunch is provided and is included with the price of registration.  Childcare is available (registration required) and IF t-shirts will be sold on the day of the event.

For more information please send an email to .

Women's LIFE Groups

We offer multiple women-only LIFE Groups, for more community and study, that meet on weekends and weekdays, and they all include childcare.  All studies are Biblically based and offer topics on growing with Christ, motherhood, books of the Bible, etc. Check out our latest LIFE Groups page here for the most up-to-date details.

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, and by preschoolers we mean kiddos from birth through kindergarten.

MOPS is a grassroots movement that believes moms are world influencers.  We believe that incubating hearts and giving "just-because" hugs can change the course of history.  That’s why we connect moms all over the world to a community of women, in their own neighborhoods, who meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood.  MOPS groups are rallying women to be more honest, to feel more equipped and to find our identity by journeying alongside one another.

Stitches of Love

Stitches of Love is a quilting ministry of ADBC.  Their mission is to be the hands of Jesus by using their gifts and talents to bless others.  They make baby quilts to donate to the local crisis pregnancy centers, to military couples, and to church members.  They also make comfort caps for ladies undergoing medical treatment.

They meet in the Outdoor Rec Building at Loring Mill the 2nd Saturday of each month, 10:00am-3:00pm, and have Thimble Thursday each Thursday at 10:00 am.

For more information, join their Facebook page: Stiches of Love Quilt Ministry.

Each year a men's and women’s softball team is gathered by those that are interested in having fun on the ball field.  For more information, contact Travis Pruden by emailing at or by calling 803.905.5200.
